Vidéoconférence mobile et webdiffusion au Bas-Saint-Laurent

This projets has mainly focused on bringing videoconference technology and related knowledge to the citizens living in rural area in the Lower St-Lawrence (part of the province of Québec). With the partnership of la SADC de la Neigette, le CRSBP du Bas-Saint-Laurent and PQM.Net, it has been possible to organize a network of videoconferencing sites. Using the Webvox Technology, targeted sites can now participate in Internet videoconferences. The targeted rural communities can also use the technology to broadcast their own live webcats or host their own videoconferences involving up to four simultaneous participating sites.
To make this project possible, each partner has invested time, money and expertise. Their contributions have been leveraged by the Francommunauté virtuelles program, which has been a great help financially, as well as technically.
